Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
For the fool will speak folly, and his heart will work iniquity, to practice profanity, and to utter error against YHWH, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
