The tempter approached and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become bread.”
and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, so that you won’t strike your foot against a stone.’”
And they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
The demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, permit us to go into the herd of pigs.”
Demons also came out of many people, crying out, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and didn’t allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Christ.

You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe—and shudder.
