Y’all will seek me and find me, when y’all search for me with all your* heart.
Then little children were brought to him so that he would place his hands on them and pray. But the disciples rebuked them.
The crowd rebuked them, telling them that they should be quiet, but they cried out even more, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
As Jesus passed by from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”
People were bringing little children to him for him to touch, but the disciples rebuked them.
While he was still speaking, people came from the synagogue ruler’s house, saying, “Your daughter is dead. Why bother the teacher anymore?”
Those who led the way sternly told him to be silent. But he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and be watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.
In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and petitions with strong cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.
