Look, it was for my own welfare that I had great anguish, but in love you have delivered my soul from the pit of corruption; for you have cast all my sins behind your back.
Some people brought a man who was paralyzed to him, lying on a bed. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Son, take courage! Your sins are forgiven you.”
For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk?’
When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
and he didn’t need anyone to testify about humanity; for he himself knew what was in each human.
Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “Look, you have been made well. Do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.”
When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and exhorted them all to remain true to the Lord with purpose in their hearts.
He was listening to Paul speaking, when Paul stared directly at him and saw that he had faith to be healed,
Anyone y’all forgive, I forgive. For what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the presence of Christ for y’all sake,
bearing with one another, and forgiving each other if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as Christ forgave y’all, so y’all should also forgive.
But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
