And he said to him: Lay not thy hand upon the boy, neither do thou any thing to him. Now I know that thou fearest God, and hast not spared thy only begotten son for my sake.


Behold, in peace is my bitterness most bitter. But thou best delivered my soul that it should not perish: thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.


And behold they brought to him one sick of the palsy lying in a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the man sick of the palsy: Be of good heart, son, thy sins are forgiven thee.


Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee: or to say, Arise, and walk?


And when Jesus had seen their faith, he saith to the sick of the palsy: Son, thy sins are forgiven thee.


And he said to her: Thy sins are forgiven thee.


And because he needed not that any should give testimony of man: for he knew what was in man.


Afterwards, Jesus findeth him in the temple, and saith to him: Behold thou art made whole: sin no more, lest some worse thing happen to thee.


Who, when he was come, and had seen the grace of God, rejoiced: and he exhorted them all with purpose of heart to continue in the Lord.


Said with a loud voice: Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped up, and walked.


And to whom you have pardoned any thing, I also. For, what I have pardoned, if I have pardoned any thing, for your sakes have I done it in the person of Christ.


Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if any have a complaint against another: even as the Lord hath forgiven you, so do you also.


But some man will say: Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without works; and I will shew thee, by works, my faith.
