Y’all are to serve YHWH, y’all’s God, and ʜᴇ will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you.


Turn to the law and to the covenant! If they don’t speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.


Leave your fatherless children. I will keep them alive. Let your widows trust in me.”


But he answered, “It is written, ‘A human must not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”


“Therefore y’all don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘What will we wear?’


Then he said to them, “When I sent y’all out without money belt, bag, or sandals, did y’all lack anything?” “Nothing,” they answered.


For it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you, to carefully guard you,’


Then the devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.”


Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘You are to worship the Lord [YHWH] your God, and you are to serve ʜɪᴍ only.’”


And y’all take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.


Hᴇ humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, and fed you with manna that you and your ancestors didn’t know, in order to teach you that humans do not live by bread alone, but humans are to live by every word that proceeds from YHWH’s mouth.
