God said, “No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You are to name him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.
One of them said, “I will return-return to you at about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son!” Sarah heard in the tent door, which was behind him.
Is anything too hard for YHWH? At the set time I will return to you, when the season comes around, and Sarah will have a son.”
Then YHWH visited Sarah as he had said, and YHWH did for Sarah what he had promised.
Israel traveled with all that he had and came to Beersheba where he offered sacrifices to the God of his father, Isaac.
He blessed Joseph, and said, “The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has fed me all my life long to this day,
“Oh that you would hide me in Sheol, that you would keep me secret until your wrath is past, that you would appoint me a set time and remember me!
God heard their groaning, and God remembered ʜɪꜱ covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
Moreover ʜᴇ said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.
He said to them, “It isn’t for y’all to know the times or periods the Father has set by his own authority.
For the wording of the promise is this: “At the appointed time I will come, and Sarah will have a son.”
If y’all belong to Christ, then y’all are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise.
By faith he dwelled in the land of promise as a stranger in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise.
