The birds of prey came down on the carcasses, and Abram drove them away.


When the sun went down, and it was dark, a smoking furnace and a flaming torch appeared and passed between the pieces.


He said to him, “Bring me a heifer three years old, a female goat three years old, a ram three years old, a turtledove, and a young pigeon.”


He is to tear it open by its wings, but must not divide it. the priest is to burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an food offering, a pleasant aroma to YHWH.


Make every effort to present yourself approved by God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the word of truth.
