Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he spoke with him, a pillar of stone. He poured out a drink offering on it, and poured oil on it.
God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.
I have relied on you from the womb. You are ʜᴇ who took me out of my mother’s womb. I will always praise you.
In that day, there will be an altar to YHWH in the middle of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to YHWH at its border.

Joshua set up twelve stones in the middle of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the ark of the covenant stood. They remain there to this day.
Saul built an altar to YHWH. This was the first altar that he built to YHWH.
The word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out against the Philistines to battle, and encamped beside Ebenezer, and the Philistines encamped in Aphek.
Now the Philistines had taken the ark of God, and they brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.
The men of Israel went out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, and struck them until they came under Beth Kar.
