then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men);


(let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know my integrity);


Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. Hɪꜱ understanding is infinite.


They close up their callous hearts. Their mouths speak with arrogance.


Let the lying lips be mute, which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt.


won’t God search this out? For ʜᴇ knows the secrets of the heart.


Y’all must not lift up your* horn on high. Y’all must not speak with a stiff neck.”


They pour out arrogant words. All the evildoers boast.


A person’s are clean in their own eyes, but YHWH weighs the motives.


If you say, “But we didn’t know this,” doesn’t ʜᴇ who weighs the hearts consider it? Doesn’t ʜᴇ who keeps your soul know it? Will he not render to every person according their work?


The fear of YHWH is to hate evil. I hate pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth.


The way of the just is uprightness. You who are upright make the path of the righteous level.


Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.


“I, YHWH, search the heart. I examine the mind, to give every person according to their ways, according to the fruits of their actions.”


Y’all have boasted me with your* mouth, and y’all have multiplied your* words against me. I have heard it.”


Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.

“Y’all’s words against me are harsh,” says YHWH. “Yet y’all say, ‘What have we said against you?’


For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. It pierces to the point of dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

But YHWH said to Samuel, “Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but YHWH looks at the heart.”
