From that time forth, Iesus began to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Ierusalem, and suffer many things of the seniors, and of the high priests, and of the scribes, and must be killed, and rise again the third day.


and shall deliver him to the gentiles, to be mocked, to be scourged, and to be crucified: and the third day he shall rise again.


Peter answered, and said unto him: though all men should be hurt by thee, yet would I not be hurt.


Then said Iesus unto them: be not afraid. Go and tell my brethren, that they go into Galile, and there shall they see me.


¶ Then the xj. disciples went away into Galile, into a mountain where Iesus had appointed them.


But after that I am risen again I will go into Galile before you.


But go your way, and tell his disciples, and namely Peter, that he is gone before you into Galile, there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.


After that he was seen of more than five hundred brethren at once: of which many remain unto this day, and many are fallen asleep.
