They said unto him: in Bethlehem a town of Jury. For thus it is written by the prophet:

Tuilleadh leaganacha

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judæa: for thus it is written by the prophet,

They replied to him, In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet:

And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judæa: for thus it is written through the prophet,

They said, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for this is what the prophet wrote:

And they said to him: "In Bethlehem of Judea. For so it has been written by the prophet:

But they said to him: In Bethlehem of Juda. For so it is written by the prophet:

¶ When Iesus was born in Bethlehem a town of Jury, in the time of king Herod. Behold, there came wise men from the east to Ierusalem

and he sent for all the chief priests and scribes of the people, and demanded of them where Christ should be born.

Saith not the scripture that Christ shall come of the seed of David: and out of the town of Bethlehem where David was?

Naisc urraithe
