¶ When Iesus was born in Bethlehem a town of Jury, in the time of king Herod. Behold, there came wise men from the east to Ierusalem
And his fame spread abroad throughout all Syria. And they brought unto him all sick people, that were taken with divers diseases and gripings, and them that were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy. And he healed them.
But they as soon as they were departed, spread abroad his name through out all the land.
Anon his name spread abroad throughout all the region bordering on Galile.
¶ And king Herode heard of him, for his name was spread abroad, And he said: Ihon Baptist is risen again from death, and therefore miracles are wrought in him.
¶ And Iesus returned by the power of the spirit into Galile, and the fame of him went throweout all the region round about.
And went and touched the coffin, and they that bare him stood still. And he said: Young man, I say unto thee, arise.
