¶ And Iesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness, and all manner diseases among the people.


¶ He taught in one of their synagogues on the saboth days.


And Iesus answered and spake unto the lawyers and pharises, saying: is it lawful to heal on the saboth day?


¶ And he came to Nazareth where he was nursed, and as his custom was, went into the synagogue on the saboth days, and stood up for to read.


and came into Capernaum a city of Galile, and there taught them on the saboth days.


¶ It happened on an after Sabbath, they went thorow the corn field, and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and ate them, and rubbed them in their hands.


And he said unto them: The son of man is Lord even of the saboth day.


in them lay a great multitude of sick folk, of blind, halt, and withered, waiting for the moving of the water.


Then said some of the pharises: this man is not of God, because he keepeth not the saboth day. Other said: how can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was strife among them.
