And that I say unto you, I say unto all men, watch.


¶ And he came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter: Simon sleepest thou? Couldest not thou watch with me one hour?


¶ The servant that knew his master's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.


But he that knew not, and hath committed things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whom much is given: of him shall be much required. And to whom men much commit, the more of him will they ask.


The end of all things is at hand.


¶ Be sober and watch, for your adversary the devil as a roaring lion walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
