Therefore I say unto you, be not careful for your life what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body, what raiment ye shall wear. Is not the life more worth than meat? and the body more of value than raiment?


¶ Which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?


Consider the lilies how they grow: They labor not: They spin not: and I say unto you, Solomon in all his royalty was not clothed like unto one of these.


And ask not what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither climb ye up on high:


Cast all your care to him: for he careth for you.
