¶ Let the word of God dwell in you plenteously in all wisdom. Teach and exhort your own selves, in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs which have favour with them, singing in your hearts to the Lord.
¶ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and truth is not in us.
I write unto you fathers, how that ye have known him that was from the beginning. I write unto you young men, how that ye are strong: and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome that wicked.
He that saith I know him, and keepeth not his commandments is a liar, and the verity is not in him.
¶ Little children, ye are of God, and have overcome them: for greater is he that is in you, then he that is in the world.

for the truth's sake, which remaineth in us, and shall be in us for ever.
