So Adonai struck down the Cushites before Asa and before Judah. The Cushites fled


Not to us, Adonai, not to us, but to Your Name be the glory— because of Your love and Your faithfulness.


For Your Name’s sake, Adonai, pardon my guilt, for it is great.


Turn Your ear to me, rescue me quickly. Be a rock of refuge for me, a stronghold for my deliverance.


O You who hear prayer, to You all flesh will come.


I, I am the One who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and will not remember your sins.


For My Name’s sake I defer My anger, for My praise I will restrain it for you— otherwise I would cut you off.


Do not despise us, for Your Name’s sake. Do not dishonor Your glorious throne. Remember Your covenant with us— do not break it!


Though our iniquities testify against us, Adonai, act for Your Name’s sake. For our backslidings are many. We have sinned against You.


But for the sake of My Name I did what would keep it from being profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.
