The nations sank into the pit they made. The net they hid caught their own foot.
They will still yield fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and freshness.
Rise up, O Judge of the earth! Pay back to the proud what they deserve.

But by your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed.
