The mighty lion perishes for lack of prey and the lioness’ cubs are scattered.


for He satisfies the thirsty soul and fills the hungry soul with goodness.


The fear of Adonai is the beginning of wisdom. All who follow His precepts have good understanding. His praise endures forever!


Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.


A psalm of David. Adonai is my shepherd, I shall not want.


“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will give counsel—My eye is on you.


Come and listen, all you who fear God. I will tell what He has done for my soul.


The fear of Adonai is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.


Train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not turn from it.


Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction. Pay attention, to gain understanding.


Now then, sons, listen to me, pay attention to the words of my mouth.


I love those who love me. Those who earnestly seek me find me.
