Even before, when Saul was king over us, it was you who led Israel out and back. Also Adonai said to you, ‘You will shepherd My people Israel and be ruler over Israel.’”


Then I proclaimed a fast there at the Ahava River so that we might humble ourselves before our God and seek from Him a straight way for us, our little ones, and all of our possessions.


Then we set out from the Ahava River on the twelfth day of the first month to go to Jerusalem. The hand of our God was upon us and He delivered us from the hand of the enemy and from ambush along the way.


Blessed be the Name of Adonai from now and forever.


But we—we will bless Adonai both now and forever. Halleluyah!


As the mountains are around Jerusalem, so Adonai is all around His people, both now and forever.


O Israel, put your hope in Adonai from this time forth and forever.


He guards the paths of justice, and protects the way of His kedoshim.


In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
