May those who hope in You not be ashamed because of me, my Lord, Adonai-Tzva’ot. May those who seek You not be disgraced because of me, O God of Israel.


Thus says Adonai, the Redeemer of Israel, their Holy One, to the One despised, to the One the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers: “Kings will see and arise, princes will also bow down, because of Adonai who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You.”


He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief, One from whom people hide their faces. He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.


Adonai, You enticed me, so I was enticed. You overpowered me, and prevailed. I am a laughingstock all day long. Everyone mocks me.


and hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify. Yet on the third day, He will be raised up.”


And immediately Judah drew near to Yeshua and said, “Shalom, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.


Over His head they put the charge against Him, which read: “THIS IS YESHUA, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”


They dress Him up in purple. After braiding a crown of thorns, they put it on Him.


And they began to salute Him, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
