They refused to obey and did not remember Your wonders that You did among them. Instead, they became stiff-necked and in their rebellion, appointed a leader in order to return to their bondage. But You are a God of forgiveness, merciful and compassionate, slow to anger, and abounding in love. Therefore You did not abandon them,


Adonai is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.


But He is compassionate, forgives iniquity and does not destroy. Yes, many times He restrains His anger, and does not stir up all His wrath.


But You, my Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, full of love and truth.


For You, my Lord, are good, and ready to forgive and full of mercy to all who call upon You.


“How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I surrender you, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I set you as Zeboim? My heart is turning over within Me. My compassions are kindled.


“Now that slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii. And he grabbed him and started choking him, saying, ‘Pay back what you owe!’


Then summoning the first slave, his master said to him, ‘You wicked slave! I forgave all that debt because you pleaded with me.


When neither could repay him, he canceled both debts. So which of them will love him more?”


Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt canceled.” “You have judged correctly,” Yeshua said.


Then they removed the foreign gods from among them, and worshipped Adonai. So His soul could not bear the misery of Israel.
