Nevertheless, in Your great compassion, You did not put an end to them or abandon them, for You are a gracious and compassionate God.
He has not treated us according to our sins, or repaid us according to our iniquities.
remembered His covenant to them, and relented in the greatness of His mercy.
Answer me, Adonai, for good is Your mercy. With Your great compassion, turn to me.
But He is compassionate, forgives iniquity and does not destroy. Yes, many times He restrains His anger, and does not stir up all His wrath.

The Lord our God is compassionate and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against Him.
“For I am Adonai. I do not change, So you, children of Jacob, are not consumed.
And His mercy is from generation to generation to the ones who fear Him.
