Early the next morning, while it was still very dark, Jesus rose and departed. He went off to a desolate place and prayed there.
Again Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.”
I must do the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.
