But Ananias answered, “Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he has done to thy saints at Jerusalem;


But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel;


At present, however, I am going to Jerusalem with aid for the saints.


Now, brethren, you know that the household of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the service of the saints;


he delivered us from so deadly a peril, and he will deliver us; on him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again.

Now it is superfluous for me to write to you about the offering for the saints,
