But the words of Esau her older son were told to Rebekah; so she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said to him, “Behold, your brother Esau comforts himself by planning to kill you.


But as to the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the Lord, thus shall you say to him, Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Regarding the words which you have heard,


The Almighty—we cannot find him; he is great in power and justice, and abundant righteousness he will not violate.


My heart overflows with a goodly theme; I address my verses to the king; my tongue is like the pen of a ready scribe.


And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God,


Now after some years I came to bring to my nation alms and offerings.


As regards the gospel they are enemies of God, for your sake; but as regards election they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers.


Contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality.


that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,


only they would have us remember the poor, which very thing I was eager to do.


So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.


But as to the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need to have anything written to you.


but the anointing which you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that any one should teach you; as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie, just as it has taught you, abide in him.


And as for the matter of which you and I have spoken, behold, the Lord is between you and me for ever.”
