For this purpose he was hired, that I should be afraid and act in this way and sin, and so they could give me an evil name, in order to taunt me.


With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.


A righteous man turns away from evil, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.


A perverse man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends.


He who winks his eyes plans perverse things, he who compresses his lips brings evil to pass.


Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways;


You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, beware lest you be carried away with the error of lawless men and lose your own stability.
