Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you, and you be found a liar.


Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, filling you with vain hopes; they speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.


After spending some time there he departed and went from place to place through the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.


I appeal to you, brethren, to take note of those who create dissensions and difficulties, in opposition to the doctrine which you have been taught; avoid them.


For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen by race.


Was I vacillating when I wanted to do this? Do I make my plans like a worldly man, ready to say Yes and No at once?


“Everything that I command you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to it or take from it.


You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it; that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.


Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is not irksome to me, and is safe for you.


Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.
