And Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing hidden from the king which he could not explain to her.


Have you listened in the council of God? And do you limit wisdom to yourself?


The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.


Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches;


even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness, says the Lord God.


You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you.


And in every matter of wisdom and understanding concerning which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters that were in all his kingdom.


Among these were Daniel, Hananiah, Misha-el, and Azariah of the tribe of Judah.


Daniel said: “Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might.


he reveals deep and mysterious things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.


“O Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you and that no mystery is difficult for you, here is the dream which I saw; tell me its interpretation.
