And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here I have made two talents more.’


When he came and saw the grace of God, he was glad; and he exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose;


And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing beseeching him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”


Now after some years I came to bring to my nation alms and offerings.


For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem;


But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God which is with me.


And when I was with you and was in want, I did not burden any one, for my needs were supplied by the brethren who came from Macedonia. So I refrained and will refrain from burdening you in any way.


for the rendering of this service not only supplies the wants of the saints but also overflows in many thanksgivings to God.


for I know your readiness, of which I boast about you to the people of Macedonia, saying that Achaia has been ready since last year; and your zeal has stirred up most of them.


lest if some Macedonians come with me and find that you are not ready, we be humiliated—to say nothing of you—for being so confident.


To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,


For this I toil, striving with all the energy which he mightily inspires within me.


and indeed you do love all the brethren throughout Macedonia. But we exhort you, brethren, to do so more and more,
