O God the Lord, who art the strength of my salvation: A cov'ring in the day of war my head thou hast put on.


All day, my God, to thee I cry, yet am not heard by thee; And in the season of the night I cannot silent be.


He from th' Eternal shall receive the blessing him upon, And righteousness, ev'n from the God of his salvation.


The Lord's my light and saving health, who shall make me dismay'd? My life's strength is the Lord, of whom then shall I be afraid?


Far from me hide not thou thy face; put not away from thee Thy servant in thy wrath: thou hast an helper been to me. O God of my salvation, leave me not, nor forsake:


Like as the hart for water-brooks in thirst doth pant and bray; So pants my longing soul, O God, that come to thee I may.


O God, of my salvation God, me from blood-guiltiness Set free; then shall my tongue aloud sing of thy righteousness.


That there is not a God, the fool doth in his heart conclude: They are corrupt, their works are vile, not one of them doth good.


In God my glory placed is, and my salvation sure; In God the rock is of my strength, my refuge most secure.


O God of our salvation, thou, in thy righteousness, By fearful works unto our pray'rs thine answer dost express: Therefore the ends of all the earth, and those afar that be Upon the sea, their confidence, O Lord, will place in thee.


Blessed be the Lord, who is to us of our salvation God; Who daily with his benefits us plenteously doth load.


For thy name's glory help us, Lord, who hast our Saviour been: Deliver us; for thy name's sake, O purge away our sin.


Sith unto thee I daily cry, be merciful to me.
