O Lord, my hope and confidence is plac'd in thee alone; Then let thy servant never be put to confusion.

In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: Let me never be put to confusion.

IN YOU, O Lord, do I put my trust and confidently take refuge; let me never be put to shame or confusion!

In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge: Let me never be put to shame.

I’ve taken refuge in you, LORD. Don’t let me ever be put to shame!

They in the Lord that firmly trust shall be like Sion hill, Which at no time can be remov'd, but standeth ever still.

O happy is that man and blest, whom Jacob's God doth aid; Whose hope upon the Lord doth rest, and on his God is stay'd:

When unto thee they sent their cry, to them deliv'rance came: Because they put their trust in thee, they were not put to shame.
