Who in their heart mischievous things are meditating ever; And they for war assembled are continually together.


The wicked man doth watch the just, and seeketh him to slay.


My soul's bow'd down; for they a net have laid, my steps to snare: Into the pit which they have digg'd for me, they fallen are.


For, lo, they for my soul lay wait: the mighty do combine Against me, Lord; not for my fault, nor any sin of mine.


For those that are mine enemies against me speak with hate; And they together counsel take that for my soul lay wait.


Wherewith thy raging enemies reproach'd, O Lord, think on; Wherewith they have reproach'd the steps of thine anointed one.
