How precious also are thy thoughts, O gracious God, to me! And in their sum how passing great and numberless they be!


As th' apple of the eye me keep; in thy wings shade me close


How great's the goodness thou for them that fear thee keep'st in store, And wrought'st for them that trust in thee the sons of men before!


Be merciful to me, O God; thy mercy unto me Do thou extend; because my soul doth put her trust in thee: Yea, in the shadow of thy wings my refuge I will place, Until these sad calamities do wholly overpass.


In shadow of thy wings I'll joy; for thou mine help hast been.


And thy most perfect righteousness O Lord, is very high, Who hast so great things done: O God, who is like unto thee?


But thou art full of pity, Lord, a God most gracious, Long-suffering, and in thy truth and mercy plenteous.


For thou art gracious, O Lord, and ready to forgive; And rich in mercy, all that call upon thee to relieve.


His feathers shall thee hide; thy trust under his wings shall be: His faithfulness shall be a shield and buckler unto thee.
