The Lord hath me chastised sore, but not to death giv'n over.


I'll thee extol, my God, O King; I'll bless thy name always.


Those that are broken in their heart, and grieved in their minds, He healeth, and their painful wounds he tenderly up-binds.


O Lord my God, do thou me judge after thy righteousness; And let them not their joy 'gainst me triumphantly express:


But as for me, thou me uphold'st in mine integrity; And me before thy countenance thou sett'st continually.


Of gladness and of joyfulness make me to hear the voice; That so these very bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.


Lord, pity me, for I am weak: Heal me, for my bones vexed be.


But, Lord, to thee I cry'd; my pray'r at morn prevent shall thee.
