Earth, as affrighted, trembleth all, if he on it but look; And if the mountains he but touch, they presently do smoke.


Snares, fire and brimstone, furious storms, on sinners he shall rain: This, as the portion of their cup, doth unto them pertain.


Like fiery ov'n thou shalt them make, when kindled is thine ire; God shall them swallow in his wrath, devour them shall the fire.


Our God shall surely come, keep silence shall not he: Before him fire shall waste, great storms shall round about him be.


O God, why hast thou cast us off? is it for evermore? Against thy pasture-sheep why doth thine anger smoke so sore?
