Rescue me, O Lord, from the evil man. Rescue me from the iniquitous leader.

Deliver me, O Lord, from the evil man: rescue me from the unjust man.

Yea, for thy sake we're kill'd all day, counted as slaughter-sheep.

My wand'rings all what they have been thou know'st, their number took; Into thy bottle put my tears: are they not in thy book?

Man's thoughts to be but vanity the Lord doth well discern.
