He covers the face of the full moon, and spreads over it his cloud.


There is no gloom or deep darkness where evildoers may hide themselves.


From where he sits enthroned he watches all the inhabitants of the earth—


Clouds and thick darkness are all around him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.


It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to live in;


Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them? says the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? says the Lord.


who builds his upper chambers in the heavens, and founds his vault upon the earth; who calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the surface of the earth— the Lord is his name.
