Better is open rebuke than hidden love.


You shall not hate in your heart anyone of your kin; you shall reprove your neighbor, or you will incur guilt yourself.


For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you wish to have no fear of the authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive its approval;


I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions just as I handed them on to you.


When you come together, it is not really to eat the Lord's supper.


What! Do you not have homes to eat and drink in? Or do you show contempt for the church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What should I say to you? Should I commend you? In this matter I do not commend you!


If you are hungry, eat at home, so that when you come together, it will not be for your condemnation. About the other things I will give instructions when I come.


If, therefore, the whole church comes together and all speak in tongues, and outsiders or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are out of your mind?


What should be done then, my friends? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.


not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
