This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘These people say, “The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.” ’


And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.


Jesus replied, ‘Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.’


But Jesus told him, ‘Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.’


So from now on we regard no-one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
