Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and illness among the people.


When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching,


So he travelled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.


Jesus then left that place and went into the region of Judea and across the Jordan. Again crowds of people came to him, and as was his custom, he taught them.


Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers.


He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him.


They said, ‘Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, “I came down from heaven”?’


The Jews there were amazed and asked, ‘How did this man get such learning without having been taught?’
