And he knew it, and said, It is my son's tunic. An evil beast has eaten him. Joseph is without doubt torn in pieces.


And all his sons, and all his daughters, rose up to comfort him. But he refused to be comforted. And he said, For I will go down into the grave to my son mourning. And his father wept for him.


And Jacob their father said to them, You have bereaved me. Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and you will take Benjamin. All these things are against me.


And they told him, saying, Joseph is still alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he did not believe them.


And the eyes of Israel were dim for age; he could not see. And he brought them near him, and he kissed them and embraced them.


And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed his face to the earth.


Yea, you shall see the sons of your sons. Peace be on Israel.


Sons of sons are the crown of old men, and the glory of sons are their fathers.
