Lo, my eye has seen all this, my ear has heard and understood it.


One generation shall praise your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.


[To the Chief Musician for the Sons of Korah, a maschil.] We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work you did in their days, in the times of old.


As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it forever. Selah.


And that you may tell in the ears of your son, and of your son's son, what things I have done in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that you may know that I am the LORD.


And you shall show your son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.


The living, the living, he shall praise you, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known your truth.
