For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.


When Jesus knew it, he said unto them, Why trouble you the woman? for she has worked a good work unto me.


Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.


For you have the poor with you always, and whenever you will you may do them good: but me you have not always.


For the poor always you have with you; but me you have not always.


Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Where I go, you cannot come; so now I say to you.


Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also.


I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.


But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asks me, Where do you go?


And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, keep through your own name those whom you have given me, that they may be one, as we are.


Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.


Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was eager to do.


For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command you, saying, you shall open your hand wide unto your brother, to your poor, and to your needy, in your land.


But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his heart of compassion from him, how dwells the love of God in him?
