And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.
You have sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.
They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge from the poor.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
You shall neither wrong a stranger, nor oppress him: for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:
Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: everyone loves bribes, and follows after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come before them.

If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and makes merchandise of him, or sells him; then that thief shall die; and you shall put evil away from among you.
If there is a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.
Cursed be he that perverts the justice due the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Pure religion and undefiled before God the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
