Justice shall go before him, and shall set to the way of his steps.


Lift up my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and humble in heart; and ye shall find rest to your souls.


For I have given you a pattern, as I have done to you, also should ye do.


If ye keep my commands, ye shall remain in my love; as I have kept my Father's commands, and remain in his love.


Be ye imitators of me, as I also of Christ.


And walk ye in love, as also Christ loved us, and gave himself for us a gift and sacrifice to God for a smell of sweet odor.


For to this were ye called: for also Christ suffered for you, leaving behind to you an underwriting, that ye should follow upon his footsteps:


And now, little children, remain in him; that, when he be manifested, we might have freedom of speech, that we be not shamed from him in his presence.


He saying, I have known him, and not keeping his commands, is a liar, and in him is not the truth.


And he keeping his commands remains in him, and he in him. And in this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit he gave us.


Every one remaining in him sins not: every one sinning has not seen him, nor known him.


In this has love been completed with us, that we might have freedom of speech in the day of judgment: for as he is, so are we in this world.
