and made known to them your holy Shabbat, and commanded them mitzvot, and statutes, and a law, by Moshe your servant,


Wondrous works in the land of Cham, and awesome things by the Sea of Suf.


He has shown his people the power of his works, in giving them the heritage of the nations.


He shows his word to Ya`akov; his statutes and his ordinances to Yisra'el.


You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moshe and Aharon.


They forgot his doings, his wondrous works that he had shown them.


For he established a testimony in Ya`akov, and appointed a law in Yisra'el, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children;


He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept his testimonies, the statute that he gave them.


The LORD came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. The LORD called Moshe to the top of the mountain, and Moshe went up.


All the people answered together, and said, *All that the LORD has spoken we will do.* Moshe reported the words of the people to the LORD.


The people stayed at a distance, and Moshe drew near to the thick darkness where God was.


Now therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, please show me now your ways, that I may know you, so that I may find favor in your sight: and consider that this nation is your people.*


My servant Moshe is not so; he is faithful in all my house:


There has not arisen a prophet since in Yisra'el like Moshe, whom the LORD knew face to face,
