Avshalom sent for Achitofel the Giloni, David's counselor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he was offering the sacrifices. The conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Avshalom.


*'If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before the LORD.


Balak sacrificed oxen and sheep, and sent to Bil`am, and to the princes who were with him.


Bil`am said to Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bulls and seven rams.
