They conspire and lurk, watching my steps, they are eager to take my life.


But I was like a gentle lamb that is led to the slaughter; and I didn't know that they had devised devices against me, [saying], Let us destroy the tree with the fruit of it, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.


But if you will not listen to me to make the day of Shabbat holy, and not to bear a burden and enter in at the gates of Yerushalayim on the day of Shabbat; then will I kindle a fire in the gates of it, and it shall devour the palaces of Yerushalayim, and it shall not be quenched.


Now Kefa was sitting outside in the court, and a maid came to him, saying, *You were also with Yeshua, from the Galil!*


Then the governor's soldiers took Yeshua into the Praetorium, and gathered the whole garrison together against him.


Kefa had followed him from a distance, until he came into the court of the Kohen Gadol. He was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire.


As Kefa was in the courtyard below, one of the maids of the Kohen Gadol came,


The soldiers led him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they called together the whole cohort.


When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard, and had sat down together, Kefa sat among them.


in the Kohanim Gedolim of Anan and Kayafa, the word of God came to Yochanan, the son of Zekharyah, in the wilderness.


Now the chief Kohanim and the Perushim had commanded that if anyone knew where he was, he should report it, that they might seize him.


Anan sent him bound to Kayafa, the Kohen Gadol.


They led Yeshua therefore from Kayafa into the Praetorium. It was early, and they themselves didn't enter into the Praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but might eat the Pesach.
